Visit Khustai National Park, situated 90km southwest from Ulaanbaatar, which is famous for the reintroduction of Takhi wild horses or Przewalski’s Horse (Equus ferus przewalskii). Enjoy the endless wildlife seeing opportunities, including wild horses, red deers, marmots and other wildlife. Visit a nomad family and experience horseback riding in the national park.

Itinerary

Day 1Ulaanbaatar - Khustai National Park

Meet at 9.00 am and drive to Khustai National Park. Check-in to Khustai ger camp. Visit the Information Center and watch a documentary film about the park. Optional horse riding in the park. In the evening drive or hike to watch wild horses. Overnight stay at ger camp. (L/D) 110km

Day 2Khustai National Park - Ulaanbaatar

After breakfast go for hiking and visit a nomad family. Lunch at a nomad family and drive back to Ulaanbaatar. (B/L)
