2-3 MAR - Ice Festival in Hovsgol province
Hovsgol nuur is the largest fresh water lake in Mongolia. There are many activities and competitions held in Ice Festival such as skiing, skating, snow sumo, ice ankle bone shooting game, tug-of-war, snow soccer and taste of field tea etc.

6-7 MAR - Camel Festival
This festival program includes camel racing, local children’s concert, camel polo, camel wool products exhibition, camel’s parade, camel dairy products, interesting and fun traditional games. Omnogovi province.

21 MAR - Nauryz celebration
This event has Kazakh traditional clothes’ parade, number of gers erected and traditional food such as “Nauryz koje” cooked. Also in the program included many different Kazakh traditional contests and games. Bayan-Ulgii province.

21-22 MAR - ITM-2015 International Travel Mart
It is the biggest official International Tourism Fair for all stakeholders of tourism industry in Mongolia. 2-14 JUNE - Gobi Challenge Marathon
Gobi Challenge is an expedition style multi-day ultra-race in Mongolian Gobi Desert. 140 miles on foot, the participants race through the beautiful ice gorge, endless steppes. Mongolia’s highest sand dunes and also visit Gobi nomads. Omnogovi province.

6-8 JUNE - Mongolian Bird Fair
The fair brings people from different regions in order to develop and promote bird watching activities and bird conservation campaigns at national level. The fair activities include bird watching lectures and seminars, bird watching tours and trips, bird arts and bird photography, sells of optics, cameras, accessories, books and magazines, bird sounds and videos, BIRD RACE – National birding contest and identification contests. 21 JUNE - Gobi Spring Festival
This is the first event of season in the Gobi area and organized in close proximity to main attractions such as Flaming Cliffs, Yol Valley and Hongor sand dunes. Omnogovi province.

28 JUNE - Sheep Festival
Tourists can take part in Nomadic civilization, farm, animal husbandry, productivity of sheep and how to make, prepare sheep’s products. Tuv province.

10-13 JULY - Naadam Festival
Naadam Festival is a Mongolian National holiday and it is wonderful time to experience the culture and people of this amazing land. 13 JULY - “Er bor khartsaga” ancient naadam festival of 13th century
Three manly games like an ancient style and use traditional ritual which is dedicated for the People’s Revolutionary 93th anniversary. All members of five tribes participate in Archery, Horse racing and Wrestling competitions. Tuv province.

22 JULY - Mongolian Felt Art Festival

23 JULY - Yak Festival
The “Yak Festival” attracts and expands every year and it has dramatic increase in number of tourists visited the event. Uvurhangai province.

25 JULY - “Altargana 2015” International Art and Sport Festival
The 1st festival was held with folksong by local Buryat ethnic in Dadal soum, Khentii province in 1994. It was a great carnival which Buryat ethnic visitors attended from Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude, Republic of Buryatia and about 30 delegations from “Kalmyk people” western Mongols in Russia, Tuva Republic, Europe, USA, China and Russia. 1 AUG - Festival of Mongolian Queens
This festival held in historical place called Duurlig hilltop, which is a famous territory that Mongolian last king Javzandamba’s Queen Dondogdulam and Genenpil have lived. Bayan-Adraga Soum, Hentii province.

1-5 AUG - National competition of horse trainers
The competition includes activities such astaming a horsecausingtobuck, catching a horse with a lasso. The winners will be awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals. Also there are other contests such as trotting match, beautiful horse and couples with horse harness will be held. Uvs province.

15 AUG - “Hongor” race festival

21 AUG - Golden Naadam
The Naadam Festival is a traditional celebration inherited from old days and is the biggest national event for the Mongols. The festival’s full title is “Eriin Gurvan Naadam” which can be translated as the “Three Manly Games”. It consists of wrestling, horseracing and archery. It is a tradition for the strongest wrestlers, the fastest horses, and expert marksmen from all over the Mongolia to gather to test their courage, strength and coolness. Tuv province.

25 AUG – 05 SEP - International Throat singing Festival
Throat singing is Mongolia’s invaluable contribution to World culture. It is a special sound made in unison with tongue, teeth, larynx and palate. It is difficult to determine the period when throat singing started, but as an art it started to develop during the 19th century. Because of the unique skills needed to master throat singing there are not many throat singers. The mother land of throat singing is considered to be Chandmani soum of Hovd province. Besides its uniqueness of throat singers, Hovd province is famous for many ethnic groups including Uuld, Halh, Zahchin, Torguud, Urianhai, Myangad, Durvud and Kazakh. Hovd province.

Planning to traditionally organize sixth years Shamanist religions 33 skies Sun and flames offering ceremony. Participants of this event who can see the offering ceremony and also visit the tourist complex which is designed like in the 13th century and Chinggis Khan’s monument. Tuv province.

20 SEP - International Gobi Marathon
The most impressive part of the landscape where camels roaming over Golden sand dunes, sun rises from wide open desert steppe that holds many thrilling surprises. The ground is hard sand and quite good for running. During the whole way nomadic people and their traditional felt dwelling – Ger and herds could be seen and even they would enjoy the race with you. Have a great run of 26,2 miles / 42,1km through dramatic cliffs and valleys, rolling sand dunes, worldwide known famous Saxaul forest of the Gobi and feel the emptiness and endlessness of Mongolia in the cradle of dinosaurs. Probably the most famous event after the Naadam festival since 1999 it has the largest gathering of Kazakh Eagle Hunters. The event date is agreed by local authority. Bayan-Ulgii province.
